• Auditorium

DCOP auditorium has been built keeping into consideration what could be the most important factor in photography school. It is equipped with a 4k Cinema 3d projector for the best display.

The auditorium is completely air-conditioned and the total seating capacity of the auditorium is 200 people. Installed with one of the best sound systems in the world, amplifiers from Marantz and the output of Bose make it an otherworldly experience for the students. All the workshops and events of the college are conducted right here. This is where big things happen! 4K projection, Bose speakers for the lectures and reviews. This allows the students to see their pictures in extreme clarity and detail and evolve as they learn.

If the students are going out for practicals, to the studio, or heading out for a photo/video project they first attend classroom briefing and then they proceed with their assignments.

• Studio

The second floor is our studio. DCOP studio is one of the finest studios across the country. A completely air-conditioned space with the best quality equipment in it. The second floor also has a pink room for clients and models, a changing room, and a makeup area. The studio is equipped with the avenger stands by Manfrotto. DCOP is the only photography institute in India to use avenger stands in its studio and is the second only studio in India after Amazon Studios. We have the best lighting systems used in the industry.There is a background dispenser in the studio with a variety of backgrounds to choose from. The range of stands lets the students select with more convenience as per their requirements.

• Class Rooms

Our classrooms are spacious and equipped with the finest technology, fully air-conditioned, can accommodate 40 students simultaneously. Epson Cinema 4K projection, Bose speakers for the lectures and reviews. This allows the students to see their pictures in extreme clarity and detail and evolve as they learn.

• Processing Room

The processing room is the newly formed division of the college. This room is not just a processing room but is a library, a recreation lounge, and so much more.

It's a space, where students can work together, read world-class books on photography, and in their free time, Netflix & chill on a smart Tv and Bose sound system. A fully air-conditioned area equipped with iMacs and some rare, unique books on photography for the students.

• Exhibition Area

The exhibition area showcases photographs taken by the students of the Diploma Program. Every year on World Photography Day, also the annual day celebration of DCOP the gallery is refreshed with the students of the current program. This helps the students to showcase their work to the guest and visitors throughout the year.

• Head Office

Head-office is the Director’s office where all the major meetings and staff meetings are conducted. It is one of a kind high-tech office equipped with world-class facilities. This is where the company's administrative/managerial/decisions are made.

• Office Space

DCOP has two fully furnished office space with world class interiors and all the necessary amenities. Completly air-conditioned with wifi and conference room, fire extinguishers, iMac stations, counselling rooms, etc.

• Counseling Rooms

There are 3 counseling rooms for the visitors to come and get information regarding our courses. Our team of course advisors provides them with all the course-related information and clears all doubts regarding the college or the curriculum.

The chilling lounge is for the students to socialize and discuss new ideas. This space lets the students share a common area where they can work together, read books on photography, watch movies, etc. A fully air-conditioned area equipped with iMacs and some rare, travel and fashion magazines, projectors, photo printers etc.

• Guest Room Studio

The guest room is for individuals who visits campus on college business trip. A completely insulated wooden interior with all the facilities of a studio apartment. A large living room with a beautiful view, a fully equipped kitchen area, television, fridge, microwave, washing machine etc.

• Garden Area

There are two garden areas, beautifully landscaped with Himalayan flora. It has a bonfirepit, seating area and various recrational activities. The students, mentors and guests can get together here for discussions over coffee or tea with beautiful view of the mountains or just enjoy their time together.

• Dining Area

The dining area has a seating capacity of 40 people. A wood burning fire place and pole heaters so that you enjoy dining outdoors with a beautiful view of the mountains.

• Guest Room

The guest room is for individuals that visit campus on college business. Spacious, comfortable guest rooms with amenities that will make the guests feel like home. Completely air conditioned with attached restroom, working space and a fantastic view of the Shimla hills.

• Lawn Area

There are two garden areas, beautifully landscaped with Himalayan flora. It has a bonfirepit, seating area and various recrational activities. The students, mentors and guests can get together here for discussions over coffee or tea with beautiful view of the mountains or just enjoy their time together.

• Atomos Shogun Inferno

The Atomos Shogun Inferno is a 7", 1920 x 1200 on-camera recording monitor that combines 4K recording with a 10-bit FRC panel that supports native display of HDR (log) footage as well as high-brightness viewing of Rec. 709 footage. It utilizes 4K HDMI and 12G-SDI inputs to support clean output signals at resolutions up to UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60 fps, recording it to 2.5" SSDs using 10-bit, 4:2:2 Apple ProRes, and Avid DNxHR codecs. The Inferno, unlike the similar Shogun Flame, supports Quad 3G-SDI input. It even supports DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) raw video streams over SDI from select Sony and Canon cameras, encoding it as ProRes/DNxHR files.

• LEICA M10

• Gimbal

Equipped with motors and sensors, a gimbal is a device that allows your digital camera to rotate smoothly along an axis. These days, 3-axis gimbals are the most common type. They stabilise your camera while you tilt, pan, roll and help you to film fluid, smooth footage while you're on the move.

*every student has to cover atleast 20 days of events to be eligible for stipend. The stipend amount for the internship is be 8000.

• Hostel

Delhi college of photography has students from all over the country. We have students from Assam to Mumbai and Kerala to Jammu. The college provides world-class accommodation to its students. The hostel is situated next to college so traveling to the college in Delhi’s traffic isn’t even a thing to worry about. All the rooms are air-conditioned with power back up. The rooms are completely furnished with Canadian pine and the interiors are designed well-thought-of keeping in mind that the students get maximum comfort and stay inspired even in their living space. Each unit has a kitchen with necessary supplies, a fridge, and other necessary supplies.

• Photo tours & Expeditions

Photography cannot only be learned inside a classroom. We conduct various photo tours and expeditions for our students on regular basis. If there is a festival, event, or anything that the students can befit from as photographers, we arrange photo tours and expeditions for them.

• Power backup

The entire college is completely power backed by the Cumin power-back up systems and Daikin invertors. It ensures there is power in every floor with all the systems running, studio lights functional etc. There are various projects going on in the college at the same time and power cut should not be a hassle at all. These power-back up systems are 125 KVA, silent powered, CPCB compliant and completely environment friendly. It providesback-up for an entire day.
